We're not your grandfather's law firm

We built this practice because someone needed to actually understand both tech AND law - turns out that's harder to find than you'd think

How We Got Here

A journey that wasn't exactly planned but worked out anyway

2018

The Beginning

Started in a cramped office above a sushi place on Robson Street. The smell was interesting, but the clients were intriguing - startups doing wild things with blockchain before it was cool.

2019

First Big Win

Helped a Vancouver AI company navigate some gnarly cross-border IP issues. That case taught us more than law school ever did about international tech transfer.

2020

Pivot & Expansion

Pandemic hit, but tech didn't slow down. We went fully remote before it was mandatory and expanded our crypto practice when everyone else was still confused about Bitcoin.

2022

Team Growth

Brought on specialists who actually know their stuff - developers turned lawyers, cybersecurity experts, folks who've seen the inside of both courtrooms and server rooms.

2024

West Georgia HQ

Moved into proper digs downtown. No more sushi smells, but we kinda miss it. Now we're handling cross-border deals that span three continents regularly.

2025

Today

We're working on stuff we can't even talk about yet - AI governance frameworks, quantum computing patents, decentralized finance regs. The future's weird, and we're here for it.

What We're Actually About

Look, we could give you some polished corporate mission statement, but here's the real deal - we exist because technology moves faster than legislation, and someone's gotta bridge that gap.

Our clients are building tomorrow's infrastructure today. They're creating things that don't fit neatly into existing regulatory boxes. That's where we come in - we don't just know the law, we understand the tech deeply enough to craft legal frameworks that actually make sense.

Whether it's a blockchain startup navigating securities laws across multiple jurisdictions, an AI company dealing with data privacy regs in twelve countries, or a clean tech firm structuring international licensing deals - we've been there, done that, got the coffee-stained contracts to prove it.
